Welcome to the SEAWASTE Network for Integrated Waste Management.

We are a website and information sharing network serving as a platform for dialogue on the management of aquatic pollution. It was conceived in 1998, and in 2001, when waste management experts from across Africa met at a workshop in Cape Town to discuss ways of improving collaboration on water pollution issues in the region.

The SEAWASTE Network produces a regular newsletter for members, either in electronic or print format, containing contributions from waste management groups and experts in the region.

If you would like to gain access to the above resources, please register as a member using the associated link.

Feel free to contact us with your suggestions, or if you would like to know more about the International Ocean Institute Southern Africa, host of the network.
